Jennifer Bridgman is an award-winning writer who has spent nearly two decades living at the intersection of paralysis, parenthood, and addiction. A trusted, authentic voice in recovery spaces, her work has been featured in publications and podcasts, with a rapidly growing readership drawn to her honesty, warmth, and depth.
In her forthcoming debut memoir, Dream Girl, Jennifer offers an intimate, unflinching deep dive into a marriage and life reshaped by both devastation and grace.
Now in long-term sobriety, Jennifer writes with refreshing candor about the parallel journeys of her husband's spinal cord injury and her own internal reckoning. Her clear-eyed insights resonate with readers of all types who understand what it means to let go of performance, face reality, and redefine healing.

Jennifer is a certified Peer Mentor with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. She co-leads online caregiver support groups through NorCal SCI and has served as a subgroup steward for The Luckiest Club, a global sobriety community.
She holds a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Professional Writing from University of California, Santa Barbara. With a background in marketing, public relations, and graphic design, she is uniquely positioned not only to understand who her readers are but also how to reach them.
Jennifer lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband (aka "Hot Wheels"), their three sons, three rescue cats, and one rascal of a pup.
When she's not reading, writing, or vacuuming, you can find her on her yoga mat, on a hiking trail, or on the road bouncing between theatre rehearsals, swim meets, and all the local baseball, soccer, and football fields.
